Service Technician for Residential Property

About the role

The Service Technician ensures that the physical aspects of Belmar Villas & Lakeview Towers meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality. This full‑time position supports both resident requests and preventative maintenance across the property.

Key responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident service requests and perform preventative maintenance, diagnosing issues and repairing according to policies, safety standards, and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, and final quality checks.
• Maintain inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment, tracking usage and notifying supervisors of re‑order needs.
• Document service requests accurately and promptly for proper tracking.
• Assist with grounds and common‑area upkeep, such as trash removal, pressure‑washing, general cleaning, and painting.

Required profile

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb ladders, and work in all weather conditions.
• Physical capacity to lift 25 lb independently and 50 lb with assistance.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including on‑call evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Valid driver’s license for operating a golf cart when required.

Required skills

• EPA Type I, Type II, or Universal certification for refrigerant recycling.
• All state and local certifications required for service technicians.
• Basic bilingual English/Spanish communication is a plus.
