Service Supervisor – Lake Colony Community

About the role

The Service Supervisor for the Lake Colony community ensures that all building interiors, exteriors, grounds, amenities and common areas meet Greystar’s high standards for cleanliness, safety and functionality. Reporting to the Community Manager, the role combines hands‑on technical work with oversight of maintenance staff and external contractors.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests and complete work orders, diagnosing issues and performing repairs in line with company policies, safety standards and code requirements.
• Manage the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including pre‑move‑out inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor scheduling, supply procurement, maintenance execution and final inspection.
• Develop and maintain standards for the appearance and upkeep of grounds, amenities, building exteriors, breezeways, signage, leasing office, garbage areas and parking lots.
• Conduct periodic inspections of work performed by service team members, contractors and vendors to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and maintenance materials, coordinating with the Community Manager to order supplies within budget.
• Execute monthly preventative‑maintenance tasks as outlined in the policy manual.

Required profile

• Proven experience in property or facilities maintenance, preferably in multifamily residential settings.
• Strong ability to diagnose mechanical or technical problems and implement effective repairs.
• Excellent organizational skills with the capacity to manage multiple work orders, vendor schedules and inventory.
• Knowledge of safety regulations, building codes and Greystar’s operational standards.
• Effective communication skills for interacting with residents, staff and external service providers.
