Service Associate - Single Use Device Collections

About the role

Stryker is hiring a Service Associate in Fargo, ND, a field-based position focused on collecting single-use medical devices at hospitals. The role is customer-oriented and relationship-building, with a competitive spirit and a willingness to take ownership of work. The pay is $21.58-$29.20 per hour, with a travel percentage of 30%.

Key responsibilities

• Collect single-use devices at hospitals within your assigned territory, visiting all areas including operating rooms, patient floors, patient rooms, electrophysiology and cath labs.
• Engage with hospital staff, OR personnel, supply chain, EVS, sales reps, OR management, facility champions, hospital administration and other partners to provide training and education on Stryker Sustainability Solution bins and what devices can be collected.
• Partner with your supervisor and sales representatives to build customer relationships and increase device collections.
• Take part in weekly huddles, annual in-person team meetings and administrative communication, and follow the sales code of conduct and the employee handbook.
• Perform in-service education and handle administrative tasks such as receipt growth reporting and collection tracking.

Required profile

• Valid and unrestricted driver's license and appropriate insurance; use of a personal vehicle (80-100 miles per day depending on territory).
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain and maintain the necessary credentials at each hospital in the territory.
• Physical ability: lifting up to 40 pounds, pushing or pulling up to 60 pounds, and near visual acuity (corrected) with color vision, mobility, bending, standing, stooping and finger dexterity.
• Effective communication and presentation skills, and ability to use common office equipment.
