Senior Vice President, Infrastructure and Energy Midstream M&A

About the role

Macquarie is hiring a Senior Vice President (Director) for its Midstream Infrastructure Advisory team in Houston. The role leads client coverage and complex transactions for clients across the infrastructure and energy sector, working closely with senior leaders to drive client relationships, originate new opportunities and grow the advisory business.

Key responsibilities

• Lead client coverage for corporate and financial sponsor clients, identifying opportunities and developing strategic solutions
• Oversee mergers and acquisitions, capital raising and other strategic advisory transactions from origination through closing
• Guide valuation analyses, due diligence, transaction structuring, negotiations and preparation of client materials
• Help shape industry insights that support client engagement and business development
• Mentor and develop junior team members and foster a collaborative, inclusive culture

Required profile

• 9+ years of experience in investment banking, M&A advisory, project finance, corporate development, private equity or related transaction-focused roles
• Expertise in midstream infrastructure, energy or a closely related sector
• Proven experience originating, leading and executing complex M&A, capital raising or strategic advisory transactions
• Strong relationships with corporate clients, financial sponsors and industry participants, with excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Experience leading transaction teams and developing Vice Presidents, Associates and Analysts
