Private Wealth Partner - USA

About the role

Skybound Wealth Management USA, a Registered Investment Adviser (RIA) and part of the global Skybound Wealth Management Group, is looking for a Private Wealth Partner to join its Houston office. The role suits an experienced financial adviser who can independently build and manage long-term client relationships, covering U.S. accounts such as 401(k)s, IRAs, HSAs and 529 plans, with a focus on integrating cross-border assets.

Key responsibilities

• Cultivate and maintain long-term relationships with high-net-worth individuals, business owners and expatriates.
• Provide personalized investment advice and holistic wealth management, including goal-based planning, tax optimization, estate planning and portfolio management.
• Develop strategies that integrate clients' international assets into tax-compliant, cohesive financial plans.
• Use investment research from firms such as JP Morgan and model portfolios to match clients' time horizons, tax positions and risk tolerances.
• Stay up to date on global and local markets and economic trends.
• Work with tax advisors, estate planners and portfolio managers, and ensure compliance with SEC regulations and international standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics or a related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in wealth management, financial advisory or private banking.
• Certification such as Series 65, Series 66 or another equivalent FINRA qualification.
• Ability to work independently and manage several client portfolios.

Required skills

• In-depth knowledge of financial products, investments, tax laws and estate planning.
• Portfolio management, asset allocation and risk management.
• Excellent communication skills and familiarity with financial planning software.
