About the role

Offit Kurman is seeking a Senior Trusts & Estates Attorney to join its Los Angeles office, serving high‑net‑worth individuals, families, and business owners.

Key responsibilities

Advise HNW clients on estate, gift, and generation‑skipping transfer tax planning.
Design and implement advanced planning strategies such as GRATs, IDGTs, SLATs, charitable trusts, and family limited partnerships.
Oversee complex estate and trust administration.
Counsel on business succession, philanthropic planning, and wealth transfer strategies.
Build and maintain strong client relationships as a trusted advisor.

Required profile

Admission to practice law in California.
10+ years of trusts and estates experience with a focus on advanced planning for high‑net‑worth clients.
Strong drafting, analytical, and communication skills.
