Litigation Paralegal

About the role

Segal McCambridge, a nationally recognized litigation firm, is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join its dynamic team in Austin. This hybrid position offers flexibility while handling complex general liability cases.

Key responsibilities

• Take ownership of files and work closely with attorneys through all phases of litigation, from initial pleadings to trial preparation.
• Draft, edit, and proofread legal documents with meticulous attention to detail.
• Maintain accurate case files, manage competing priorities, and ensure strict confidentiality.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a paralegal in civil defense litigation.
• Experience handling Texas matters in state and federal courts.
• Strong organizational, time‑management, and communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Experience using e‑filing systems and online research tools.
