Senior Tax Accountant – Generalist (Onsite, Los Angeles)

About the role

Our well‑established boutique tax and accounting firm in Los Angeles is looking for a Senior Tax Accountant (Generalist) to join a growing team. This fully onsite role offers strong base compensation, paid overtime, and the chance to work with a loyal, long‑standing client base.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for individuals and closely held entities.
• Support real‑estate and high‑net‑worth (HNW) clients with compliance and planning services.
• Assist with accounting and tax engagements as needed.
• Communicate directly with clients and partners, ensuring clear and timely updates.
• Collaborate with team members across all levels, contributing to a collaborative culture.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience preparing individual and entity tax returns.
• Familiarity with real‑estate and HNW client tax matters.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively during busy seasons (Feb–April) with 50–60 hours/week and occasional weekend work.

Required skills

What we offer

• Base salary $95,000–$105,000 per year.
• Paid overtime (1.5× regular, 2× Sundays).
