Senior Staff Software Engineer (Remote)

About the role

The Provider group is entering a critical growth phase and needs a Senior Staff Software Engineer to lead technical direction across the entire Provider organization. This individual will partner with the Senior Director to set the roadmap, establish engineering standards, and drive high‑impact initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Define and own the technical roadmap for the Provider domain, ensuring alignment with product strategy.
• Establish engineering standards, design patterns, and architectural guidelines across multiple teams.
• Lead high‑throughput, low‑latency distributed systems projects, including microservice and cloud infrastructure design.
• Mentor engineers, review architectures, and influence product decisions without direct authority.

Required profile

• 10+ years of professional experience building full‑stack, database‑backed web applications.
• Proven technical leadership as a principal or lead architect for a major product domain.
• Deep expertise in distributed systems, microservices, and cloud infrastructure.
• Exceptional communication skills and ability to influence cross‑functional teams.
