Senior Staff Lawyer – Personal Injury

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Staff Lawyer to join our Personal Injury team remotely. The role requires a seasoned legal professional with strong U.S. personal injury experience, capable of managing cases from pre‑litigation through litigation with minimal supervision.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of personal injury matters, handling client communication, treatment coordination, and case documentation.
• Set up and follow up on insurance claims, draft letters of representation, and obtain necessary accident documentation.
• Order and track medical records, bills, and liens; maintain organized client files in the firm’s case management system.
• Compile demand packages, assist with settlement preparation, and support attorneys during litigation, including drafting complaints, discovery, and motions as needed.
• Provide direct support to attorneys, manage competing deadlines, and ensure high‑quality documentation throughout each case stage.

Required profile

• Law degree or equivalent legal education.
• At least 3 + years of hands‑on U.S. personal injury experience, including pre‑litigation work; litigation experience preferred.
• Proven ability to manage a significant personal injury caseload and communicate directly with clients.
• Independent work style with strong attention to detail and ability to meet multiple deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Filevine or comparable legal case‑management software.
• Bilingual English/Spanish proficiency.
• Experience handling insurance claims, medical records, and treatment coordination.
