Senior SQL / ETL Developer (Data and Analytics)

About the role

Deloitte's AI & Engineering team is hiring a Project Senior SQL / ETL Developer (Project Analytics and Insights Engineer III) for a project serving Federal Law Enforcement clients in the Washington, DC area. The role works alongside professionals re-engineering operations and processes, helping clients improve financial performance and accelerate digital ventures. The Project Delivery Talent Model focuses on delivering services to clients, with employment tied to the project.

Key responsibilities

• Support strategy and program management while re-architecting and modernizing a high-visibility system.
• Partner with Federal Law Enforcement clients and functional teams to gather, define, document and translate business and technical requirements into data solutions.
• Design, develop and implement complex SQL code and ETL workflows for data processing, integration and system modernization.
• Develop unit test plans, prepare test data, document results and validate data.
• Test, debug and resolve SQL, ETL and data issues in development and production environments.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
• Active Top Secret security clearance.
• 5+ years of professional experience with SQL and/or ETL development, including complex SQL queries and data integration workflows.
• Ability to work onsite at the client site in downtown Washington, DC.

Required skills

• SQL and ETL development.
• Relational databases and data warehouse concepts.
• PostgreSQL and/or Informatica ETL strongly preferred.
• Ability to work independently, communicate clearly, manage priorities and meet deadlines.

What we offer

• Wage range of $113,000 to $188,400, depending on skills, experience and other factors.
