Lead Automation QA Engineer (Calypso)

About the role

Exadel is recruiting a Lead Automation QA Engineer for a client focused on multilateral development financing, working on complex Calypso implementations. The role is onsite or hybrid in Washington, DC, and involves defining test strategy, building and running automated tests, and leading testing across system integration, regression, performance, security and UAT.

Key responsibilities

• Define, maintain and execute the Master Test Strategy and detailed test plans, setting scope, entry/exit criteria, schedules and quality gates
• Lead testing across SIT, regression, performance, security, position conversion and UAT support
• Build and optimize automated test frameworks and reusable test suites, and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines
• Run and coordinate SIT and UAT with technical teams, functional leads and business testers
• Validate trade capture, pricing, risk, settlements, collateral, SWIFT messaging and accounting postings, and coordinate test-environment setup and test-data management
• Log, triage, prioritize and track defects in Jira and Xray, and oversee performance testing with JMeter and LoadRunner
• Produce weekly test metrics, readiness assessments, summary reports and audit-ready evidence packages

Required profile

• Extensive experience leading QA and testing for complex Calypso implementations
• Strong knowledge of Calypso front-to-back workflows (trade capture, pricing, risk, settlements, collateral, SWIFT, accounting)
• Experience with master test strategies for large financial-services transformation programs
• Advanced English; US residency required, but US work experience is not
