Senior Specialist, Data Engineering and Analytics

About the role

Join a leading research-intensive biopharmaceutical company to strengthen data and analytics within Small Molecule Science & Technology. The Senior Specialist will deliver high‑quality data engineering and analytics solutions that improve manufacturing and process visibility.

Key responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and enhance data pipelines, transformations, curated datasets, and analytical outputs.
• Support delivery of dashboards, reporting tools, and analytics that improve decision support.
• Investigate data issues, improve data quality, and partner with cross‑functional teams.
• Translate business questions into data requirements and fit‑for‑purpose outputs.
• Document data structures, business logic, and technical approaches for reuse.

Required profile

• BSc/MSc or higher in Engineering, Data Science, IT, Computer Science or related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in data engineering, analytics, or manufacturing systems (3 years with MSc).
• Experience working with manufacturing or process data in regulated pharma/biotech environments.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and collaboration skills in a matrixed organization.
