Senior Software Integration Engineer

About the role

The GEOAxIS system provides Identity, Credential and Access Management (ICAM) for web applications, enabling on-demand access to NGA GEOINT content based on users' roles. The GxNext contract, awarded to Leidos in 2021 and running until 2031, involves supporting the Consumer Integration team in Chantilly, Virginia. You will work with global consumers of Gx services, learn new concepts and technologies, and brief technical and non-technical audiences on status and capabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a client's integration with the services using project management skills
• Debug software issues, investigate root causes and recommend fixes
• Brief program and customer leadership, and communicate product and implementation details to clients and partners at the right technical and functional level
• Implement, evolve and support authentication, SSO, SAML, federation and cloud infrastructure
• Document enterprise IT architecture and perform software testing or validation procedures
• Integrate services from different systems and help remove impediments and raise larger issues to Program Leadership
• Gather requirements through usability sessions and feed the CI/CD pipeline

Required profile

• Active TS SCI clearance, CI Poly eligible; must be a US citizen
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with 8 years of relevant work, or a master's degree with 6 years of prior relevant experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication and experience working with external parties
• Ability to document processes and procedures, and to recognize when a client needs customizations to a standard solution

Required skills

• SEC+ certification or DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification, or ability to obtain it within 60 days
• Preferred: Linux system administration, SDLC, Scrum and Agile, Oracle Identity and Access Management (OAM, OUD), Ping, Kubernetes, Docker, Ansible, OAuth, SAML, PKI, REST, SOAP, JSON, LDAP, and AuthN/AuthZ/DPM/EM/Authoritative Attributes

Pay range: $107,900 - $195,050.
