Senior Software Engineer, Product

About the role

RevenueCat is looking for a product‑focused Full‑stack Engineer to design, build, ship, and own end‑to‑end features used by thousands of developers and hundreds of millions of end‑users. You will work across frontend, backend, and data layers, taking ownership from problem definition through production rollout and long‑term maintenance.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement high‑scale product features, balancing reliability, performance, and shipping speed.
• Own the full lifecycle of features, including scoping, development, rollout, monitoring, and iterative improvement.
• Collaborate with product, design, and data teams to define requirements and prioritize work.
• Participate in code reviews, bug bashes, and architecture discussions, and mentor junior engineers.

Required profile

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience with a strong backend foundation.
• Proven ability to build and operate high‑scale production systems.
• Customer‑obsessed mindset, able to think like developers, product managers, and marketers.
• Comfortable working in a fully remote, autonomous environment.

Required skills

• TypeScript and React for frontend development.
• Advanced SQL (PostgreSQL) and data modeling.
• Python and Flask for backend services.
• AWS infrastructure and best practices for deployment, monitoring, and reliability.
