Senior Software Engineer – Patient Services (Remote)

About the role

Rula is looking for a senior engineer to design and build a high‑throughput, distributed platform that serves as the single source of truth for all patient data. You will lead the technical strategy for re‑engineering core backend systems during a period of rapid growth.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and implement scalable, resilient, fault‑tolerant data services for patient information.
• Drive zero‑to‑one design decisions and establish operational rigor across the team.
• Mentor engineers, review architectures, and define design patterns.
• Collaborate with product managers and cross‑functional teams to shape roadmap and product vision.

Required profile

• 4+ years of professional experience building distributed, event‑driven systems.
• Experience with microservice development and cross‑functional collaboration.
• Proven ability to mentor others and lead technical initiatives.
