Senior Software Engineer (Java/Angular, AWS)

About the role

Leidos is seeking a Software Developer for a 200+ FTE technical development program supporting the Sponsor's Entitlement Programs as well as IdAM / ICAM, covering authentication, authorization, attributes and digital policy management. The engineer works with a large team of developers, software engineers and data engineers and helps modernize and implement industry standards while keeping IT systems secure, reliable and available.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal and external teams on integrations and tasking delivery
• Maintain and modernize legacy applications
• Write custom scripts to install and configure code in EC2 instances
• Create RESTful APIs and develop with Spring Boot
• Design and use custom ETL methodology
• Unit test, peer review and maintain automated tests such as Selenium
• Work within Agile and Scrum methodologies

Required profile

• Active TS/SCI with polygraph
• Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of prior relevant experience, or additional experience in lieu of a degree
• Experience in multiple programming languages and full-stack development
• Experience developing solutions to meet customer requirements
