Senior Software Engineer

About the role

SUBSCRIBE is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to own end‑to‑end development of new features on its alternative investment platform. You will work across the full stack, shaping specifications, building APIs and front‑end components, and driving continuous improvement after release.

Key responsibilities

• Lead major projects within a product area, influencing specs and architecture.
• Design, develop, and modify backend APIs using Ruby on Rails.
• Write front‑end code in React.js that consumes those APIs.
• Collaborate with product managers and cross‑functional teams to solve concrete user problems.
• Maintain clean, well‑tested code and contribute to ongoing feature enhancements.

Required profile

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Self‑motivated, passionate and able to work in a cross‑functional environment.
• Strong communication skills and ability to give and receive constructive feedback.

• Ruby on Rails
• React.js
• RSpec for backend testing
• AWS services (S3, RDS, ECS)
• Argo for CI/CD pipelines
