Senior Software Engineer – Boomi

About the role

Cargill is seeking a Senior Software Engineer with expertise in Boomi to design, develop, and maintain high‑quality software solutions that support our global food and agricultural operations. The role works with minimal supervision and collaborates across product, design, and engineering teams to deliver new features and improve existing applications.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain clean, efficient, and scalable code for new and existing software applications.
• Lead automation of software deployment using internal platforms, ensuring reliable releases.
• Partner with product managers, designers, and engineers to gather requirements and deliver solutions that meet business goals.
• Write and maintain comprehensive unit and integration tests, and perform debugging to uphold software quality and performance.
• Suggest and implement improvements to development and deployment processes for greater efficiency.
• Create and maintain detailed documentation for applications, deployment procedures, and system configurations.
• Provide technical support and troubleshoot complex issues in production environments.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of relevant software engineering experience, typically 5+ years.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and a commitment to code quality.
