Senior Software Engineer, Agents

About the role

RevenueCat is building AI‑driven agents that help app developers manage subscriptions and optimize revenue. As a Senior Software Engineer you will design and ship advanced agentic features that power thousands of developers, shaping the core infrastructure for orchestration, tool execution, and human‑in‑the‑loop controls.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and ship agentic features that interact with RevenueCat APIs and AI models.
• Own the end‑to‑end infrastructure for orchestration, context management, evaluation pipelines, and trust/permissions layers.
• Improve reliability, observability, and security of backend systems at scale.
• Collaborate with product, design, and customer teams to iterate quickly and ship high‑quality code.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience shipping production backend systems.
• Proven track record building AI agents used by external developers.
• Customer‑obsessed mindset with ability to think from developer, product manager, and marketer perspectives.
• Self‑directed, comfortable with ambiguity, and able to drive projects from idea to launch.

Required skills

• Strong backend fundamentals and experience with reliable, observable, secure services.
• Experience with OpenAI and Anthropic APIs.
• Familiarity with observability frameworks such as Langfuse or Langchain.
• Building Slack integrations and contributing to open‑source AI/ML tooling.
