Senior Site Superintendent / Project Manager – Residential Construction

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Site Superintendent / Project Manager to lead complex residential construction projects across the Boston area. The role involves independent ownership of two to three active sites from mobilization through final turnover, ensuring safety, quality, schedule, and client satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Lead daily field operations for multiple residential projects, including ground‑up multifamily, historic brownstone renovations, and full‑gut remodels.
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, inspectors, consultants, utilities, and internal teams.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, look‑ahead plans, sequencing, deliveries, and site logistics.
• Review drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, scopes of work, and field documentation.
• Monitor safety, quality, schedule performance, subcontractor productivity, and overall jobsite progress.
• Identify and resolve structural, constructability, scheduling, and coordination issues before they cause delays.
• Lead subcontractor meetings, inspections, progress reviews, jobsite walks, and punch‑list completion.
• Maintain clear communication with ownership, clients, architects, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.

Required profile

• 10+ years of construction experience with significant responsibility for residential field operations.
• Proven track record managing projects independently as a Superintendent, Senior Superintendent, or field‑focused Project Manager.
• Strong background in ground‑up multifamily, historic brownstone renovation, full‑gut residential renovation, or similar urban residential work.
• Ability to manage multiple active projects without constant oversight.
• Deep understanding of Boston‑specific building challenges, permitting, and high‑end finish requirements.

What we offer

• Base salary $120,000–$160,000 per year, dependent on experience
