Water Resources Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Water Resources Engineer to join our Boston team. This early‑career position offers hands‑on experience in design analysis, site inspections and technical documentation under senior mentorship. The role blends office work with field activities and supports our mission to create lasting water‑resource improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Apply standard engineering techniques to perform related technical tasks and conduct routine analyses.
• Prepare summaries, reports and technical documentation for senior review.
• Participate in field activities, including site visits and construction inspections.
• Maintain accurate documentation and data logs from job sites.
• Analyze laboratory data and compose detailed reports summarizing findings.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in civil or environmental engineering.
• EIT certification or active pursuit of the credential.
• Strong reasoning, analytical ability and clear written communication.
• Experience with field‑based engineering work or site inspections.

Required skills

• Computer Aided Design (CAD) software proficiency.
• Hands‑on experience with Civil 3D (AutoCAD) or similar design tools.
• Familiarity with water resources analysis and modeling.
