Senior Site Reliability Engineer

About the role

Join Replit's Site Reliability Engineering team to ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of the platform that serves millions of developers worldwide. You will bridge development and operations, driving automation and best practices.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement observability solutions, including monitoring, alerting, dashboards, and logging.
• Architect and maintain infrastructure automation using Terraform, Ansible, or Pulumi, and build CI/CD pipelines.
• Define and track Service Level Objectives (SLOs) and Service Level Indicators (SLIs) with product and engineering teams.
• Lead incident response, conduct post‑mortems, and create runbooks to reduce MTTR.
• Identify performance bottlenecks, perform capacity planning, and optimize resource utilization globally.

Required profile

• 4‑8 years of experience in SRE, DevOps, or related infrastructure roles.
• Strong programming skills in Python or Go for automation.
• Deep understanding of distributed systems and container orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Proven incident management and response leadership.
