Senior Service Technician – The Alcove

About the role

The Senior Service Technician will ensure that all building systems, grounds, amenities and common areas at The Alcove meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety and functionality. This onsite role supports residents by addressing service requests and prepares vacant units for new occupants.

Key responsibilities

• Complete work orders generated from resident service requests and perform preventative maintenance.
• Diagnose mechanical or electrical defects, make repairs in line with company policies, safety standards and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant apartments, including pre‑move‑out inspections, creating punch lists and coordinating vendors or contractors.
• Schedule and oversee external service providers, obtain necessary approvals and ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and report any recurring issues to management.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience in property or building maintenance.
• Strong diagnostic ability to identify and resolve mechanical or electrical problems.
• Familiarity with safety codes and preventative maintenance procedures.
• Ability to coordinate with vendors, contractors and residents effectively.
