Senior Security Engineer

About the role

Range is building an AI‑powered wealth‑management platform and needs a senior security engineer to protect members' financial data across investments, taxes, retirement, and estate planning.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and exploit security weaknesses in AI systems, infrastructure, and applications before attackers can.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to remediate findings and close detection or response gaps.
• Develop automated tools and metrics to scale security testing and improve the security program.

Required profile

• 6+ years of professional security engineering experience with a strong offensive mindset.
• Hands‑on red‑team, penetration‑testing, or vulnerability‑research experience.
• Ability to work independently on complex assessments and partner with engineers to drive fixes.

Required skills

• Deep expertise in offensive security techniques and threat‑actor tactics.
• Experience securing cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS (EC2, ECS, RDS, S3, IAM).
• Proficiency in developing custom security tools using Python or Go.
• Strong knowledge of web‑application vulnerabilities and AI/ML security concepts.
