Senior Salesforce Developer

About the role

CACI is seeking an experienced Senior Salesforce Developer to join its team supporting a large Federal client. The role combines hands-on development with senior technical expertise in a complex Salesforce environment, acting as a Salesforce subject matter expert who evaluates technical design, manages development standards, identifies risks and guides the long-term evolution of the platform.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and maintain complex Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL, Flows and Salesforce APIs.
• Lead and contribute to solution architecture and technical design, reviewing code and designs for quality, security, scalability, performance and maintainability.
• Provide an independent technical perspective and respectfully challenge proposed approaches.
• Design, develop and troubleshoot integrations between Salesforce, ERP and other enterprise systems.
• Establish and promote Salesforce development, architecture and integration standards, and identify technical debt and risks.
• Evaluate the impact of Salesforce and connected application upgrades and platform changes.
• Mentor developers and support technical planning, troubleshooting and long-term platform strategy.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• Seven or more years of software development or related experience.
• Five or more years of hands-on Salesforce development with increasing technical responsibility.
• Experience developing, customizing and troubleshooting LWC, including JavaScript, Apex integration and reusable UI components.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, data modeling, integration patterns, security, scalability and governor limits.
• Knowledge of Agile Scrum SDLC and strong communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• U.S. citizen eligible to obtain a Public Trust clearance.

Required skills

• Apex, SOQL/SOSL, Salesforce APIs, automation, security and integrations.
• Source control, CI/CD and Salesforce deployment practices.
• Code reviews and evaluation of technical designs.
• Desired: enterprise ERP integration experience, mentoring experience, and Salesforce Platform Developer or Application Architect certification.
