About the role

The Senior Sales Manager for the Northeast region will lead a team of Account Managers to drive software license revenue, expand market share and acquire new customers for AVEVA’s industrial software solutions.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead, coach and develop Account Managers to meet revenue and pipeline targets.
  • Establish performance expectations, priorities and accountability through regular engagement.
  • Develop selling skills, territory execution and disciplined use of internal tools such as SFDC and CPQ.
  • Guide creation and execution of territory and account plans aligned to market priorities.
  • Provide executive sponsorship, deal strategy and negotiation support for key opportunities.
  • Build senior executive relationships within target accounts to grow AVEVA’s footprint.
  • Collaborate with marketing, partners and business‑development teams on regional campaigns and events.
  • Leverage global alliances (Microsoft, SAP, IBM, Accenture) and local partners to accelerate sales.
  • Participate in regional market leadership, aligning sales execution with broader industry strategies.
  • Maintain deep knowledge of AVEVA’s product portfolio and core industries (Utilities, Oil & Gas, Chemicals, Metals & Mining, Paper, Life Sciences).

Required profile

  • Proven experience leading and developing sales teams.
  • Strong ability to create and execute territory and account plans.
  • Demonstrated skill in building senior‑level customer relationships.
  • Experience collaborating with marketing, partners and cross‑functional teams.
  • Solid understanding of industrial sectors served by AVEVA.

What we offer

  • Competitive salary range of $261,700 – $436,300 per year.
