Senior Sales Executive – Mid-Market Brand Partnerships

About the role

Instacart is seeking a Senior Sales Executive to join its Mid-Market Brand Partnerships team. The role focuses on building and expanding relationships with consumer packaged goods (CPG) brands, helping them reach new customers across Instacart’s extensive retail network.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with 5‑10 CPG advertiser accounts, managing the full sales cycle.
• Identify and engage executive contacts, establishing C‑level relationships.
• Drive daily outbound activity including calls, emails and social selling.
• Lead quarterly and annual planning, budgeting and data‑driven narrative creation to grow ad revenue.
• Forecast and track quarterly and annual growth targets for the book of business.
• Produce weekly campaign performance reports, optimization recommendations, and conduct monthly/quarterly reviews.
• Collaborate with product, communications, marketing, insights and analytics teams to deliver value to partners.
• Travel as needed for team meetings, customer visits and industry events.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in fast‑paced sales, preferably within CPG, digital or advertising environments.
• Proven track record of exceeding individual sales quotas.
• Strong executive presence and ability to build C‑level relationships.
• Experience in forecasting, planning and budgeting for a sales portfolio.
• Ability to manage a high volume of daily outreach activities.
