Senior Retail Project Manager

About the role

Join Macy’s as a Senior Retail Project Manager in Los Angeles, leading the delivery of store environment projects from groundbreaking to grand opening. You will work closely with suppliers, store teams and internal partners to enhance the customer shopping experience while staying on schedule and budget.

Key responsibilities

• Manage multiple store‑environment projects, overseeing task execution, timelines and quality.
• Coordinate with contracted suppliers and store management to ensure on‑time, on‑budget delivery.
• Execute capital projects funded by the Store Environment team and initiatives from internal business partners.
• Partner with Macy’s departments such as Strategic Procurement, Energy, Risk Management, Store Design, Planning and Capital Control.
• Monitor financial commitments and keep projects within budget.
• Drive strategic improvements to project operations and resolve property‑damage claims quickly.
• Support store teams to boost sales growth and maintain consistent attendance and punctuality.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing multiple retail construction or renovation projects.
• Strong sense of urgency and ability to perform under pressure.
• Excellent collaboration skills with cross‑functional teams and external suppliers.
