About the role
The Senior Rental Representative provides front‑line contact with prospects, manages a large fleet of vehicles, and ensures complete customer satisfaction in a fast‑paced environment at Penske's Medford location.
Key responsibilities
- Compute charges, prepare merchandise for rental, and process payments.
- Answer phones, greet customers, and advise on products and services.
- Prepare rental forms, obtain signatures, and verify required licenses.
- Inspect and adjust rental items to meet customer needs and explain fees, policies, and procedures.
- Maintain records of transactions, customer interactions, and resolve service or billing complaints.
Required profile
- At least 1 year of customer service experience; sales experience preferred.
- High school diploma required; some college or bachelor's degree preferred.
- Ability to work at least one weekend day and maintain regular full attendance.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as needed.
Required skills
- Basic computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Strong telephone and interpersonal communication abilities.
