Senior Recruiting Consultant

About the role

AMN Healthcare is hiring a Senior Recruiting Consultant in Boca Raton who sources, interviews and fills contract positions. The consultant builds positive relationships with candidates by understanding their career aspirations and experience, and educates them about the travel industry and the benefits of working with AMN Healthcare so the right talent matches clients' needs.

Key responsibilities

• Meet or exceed daily and weekly recruiting activity and placement metrics to grow and retain an active network of travel clinicians.
• Source and prospect nursing and allied clinicians using the company's applicant tracking system (ATS) through outbound calls, email campaigns and follow-up.
• Hold consultative conversations to learn each clinician's current situation, goals, availability and assignment preferences.
• Qualify clinicians for travel assignments based on licensure, availability, clinical skills, experience and job fit.
• Explain future opportunities, market conditions and realistic timelines so candidates see how travel fits their long-term goals.
• Negotiate compensation to build a competitive package.
• Present candidate information to Account Managers to interview and fill client openings.

Required profile

• Associate's degree with 2-5 years of relevant experience, or a high school diploma/GED with 4-7 years in a sales, recruiting, staffing, account management or customer-facing role.
• Able to meet performance metrics in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
• Preferred: experience recruiting travel nurses, allied health professionals or healthcare clinicians, and experience with outbound prospecting, consultative recruiting or full-cycle recruiting.
