Senior QA Engineer - AI & Engineering (SDET III)

About the role

Deloitte is recruiting a Senior QA Engineer (SDET III) for its AI & Engineering practice, which builds, deploys and operates software, data, AI, network and hybrid cloud solutions for clients. The role acts as a bridge between clients and Deloitte teams, leads testing of custom technology solutions and helps shape testing strategies. Recruitment closes on 11/30/26.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the lead, interfacing between clients and Deloitte teams
• Help create testing solutions that meet clients' business needs
• Lead the testing of custom technology solutions
• Drive quality assurance processes and gain delivery and buy-in from executive leadership
• Travel up to 50% of the time depending on clients and sectors served

Required profile

• 6+ years of relevant consulting or industry experience
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or a related field
• 4+ years defining testing strategy for large-scale programs and ensuring requirements traceability
• Experience leading testing across system integration, user acceptance and performance testing
• 4+ years driving QA processes and gaining executive buy-in
• 2+ years leading onshore, offshore and nearshore teams
• Ability to work in client-server, SOA, web, mainframe and three-tier architectures

Required skills

• Test and defect management tools: MicroFocus, ALM, JIRA
• Automation tools: MicroFocus UFT, Rational tooling, Selenium, Cucumber, SoapUI, Postman, RESTAssured, Mockito
• At least one scripting language (Shell, VBScript, Perl or Python)
• Source control (SVN or GIT) and build tools (Maven, CircleCI)
• CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Bamboo, Quickbuild) and automated reporting
• Cloud and API testing; preferred: Selenium, Cucumber, Python, Git, Maven, Jenkins
• Preferred: Saucelabs, BrowserStack, machine learning, NLP (NLTK), AI/LLM testing, self-healing test frameworks, responsible AI governance

What we offer

• Wage range of $105,400 to $207,800
