Senior Project Manager

About the role

The Senior Project Manager will lead complex logistics and supply‑chain projects from initiation through close‑out, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to high quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with Contract Manager, Project Controller, Lead Engineer and core team to translate customer requirements into scoped tasks.
• Manage customer communication, documentation and deliverables such as Functional Design Specifications, drawings and Acceptance Test Plans.
• Schedule contract review meetings, interpret contracts, and handle changes post‑sales.
• Collaborate with planners/schedulers to build and maintain project schedules using established tools.
• Supervise overall project budget, schedule, and variances throughout the lifecycle.
• Conduct project assessments, capture lessons learned and prepare final close‑out reports.
• Lead risk and opportunity management, including mitigation strategies.
• Report status to program, portfolio, business unit and regional management.

Required profile

• Proven track record in managing large‑scale projects in logistics or supply‑chain environments.
• Experience coordinating with site managers, EHS&S groups and external customers.
• Strong ability to organize project teams, resources and stakeholder communications.
• Demonstrated competence in budgeting, cost forecasting and financial control.
• Capability to lead project meetings, steering committees and maintain action items in a PM system.
