Senior Project Manager

About the role

UES is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead complex, multidisciplinary projects from initiation through closeout. You will work in a dynamic technical environment, ensuring projects meet scope, budget, schedule, and regulatory requirements while supporting operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain seamless communication with clients, owners, contractors, and stakeholders throughout project phases.
• Lead multiple concurrent projects from pre‑construction/estimation to final closeout, ensuring safety, timeliness, and budget compliance.
• Attend pre‑construction and on‑site meetings with clients and municipalities to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Obtain client documents, prepare and submit permit applications, and act as primary liaison with municipalities and permitting agencies.
• Develop and implement standardized processes for permit processing and plan reviews.
• Perform or supervise field inspections and testing as needed.
• Review departmental plans for accuracy and correct revision dates.
• Track project milestones, deliverables, and financials, identifying variances and implementing corrective actions.
• Mentor junior staff and promote best practices in project execution.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Environmental Science, Business, or a related field.
• Extensive experience managing complex construction or engineering projects.
• Strong knowledge of permitting processes and regulatory compliance.
• Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
