Senior Project Manager

About the role

Savills is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead design and construction projects for its diverse client base. Based in New York City, the role combines technical expertise with client‑facing responsibilities, overseeing projects from inception through closeout.

Key responsibilities

• Lead all phases of the project lifecycle, ensuring alignment with client goals, scope, budget and schedule.
• Coordinate architectural, interior, MEP, structural and civil engineering design efforts.
• Manage design review, value engineering and preparation of construction documents.
• Oversee bidding, procurement and contract negotiation for general contractors.
• Monitor construction progress, conduct field reports, analyse schedules and track budgets.
• Handle RFIs, change orders, punch lists and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Conduct regular site visits and maintain communication with internal and external stakeholders.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of experience delivering design‑build or construction projects.
• Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams and diverse stakeholder groups.
• Strong client‑management and team‑leadership capabilities.
• Experience delivering projects on time, within budget and to quality standards.
