Senior Program Coordinator – Undergraduate Career Services

About the role

The University of Miami’s Miami Herbert Business School seeks a full‑time Senior Program Coordinator to lead day‑to‑day career‑related services for undergraduate business students. Reporting to the Associate Dean of Undergraduate Career Advancement, the role ensures high‑quality programming that aligns with the school’s academic and strategic missions.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, implement, evaluate, and monitor employer relationship programs, including site and virtual visits.
• Develop strategic partnerships with regional and national companies, alumni, and not‑for‑profit organizations to expand internship and full‑time opportunities.
• Communicate employer needs, manage candidate pipelines, and track engagement through systematic reporting tools.
• Maintain and update social‑media channels and employer databases for the career development team.
• Design, coordinate, and execute undergraduate career workshops, winter externship programs, and not‑for‑profit summer internships.
• Collaborate with UM units such as the Toppel Career Center and the Graduate Career Advancement office.
• Provide logistical support for employer visits and represent Miami Herbert at external events.

Required profile

• Experience supervising staff and student workers in an academic or career services setting.
• Ability to work independently while adhering to university policies and procedures.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple programs and stakeholder relationships.
