Senior Program Coordinator (Temporary Part-Time)

About the role

The Office of the Vice Provost for Research & Scholarship at the University of Miami seeks a temporary, part‑time Senior Program Coordinator. You will design and maintain instructional content, manage website updates, and support a variety of research‑education events.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate the review, revision, and maintenance of training materials, ensuring accuracy, accessibility, and alignment with university policies.
• Design engaging learning activities, create multimedia assets, and develop assessment instruments using instructional design principles.
• Maintain and update OVPRS webpages, proofreading copy and fixing broken links to keep information current.
• Draft, edit, and distribute communications such as newsletters, event invitations, and program updates to the university research community.
• Support logistics for workshops, seminars, conferences, and other events, including material preparation and post‑event reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; a degree in Instructional Design or Higher Education Administration is preferred.
• Minimum three years of relevant experience, with teaching experience preferred.
• Strong ability to manage records, maintain confidentiality, and work both independently and collaboratively.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Experience using Learning Management Systems, specifically ULearn.
• Authoring tool expertise: Articulate, Adobe Captivate, and InDesign.
• Project‑management capabilities for meeting tight design and development deadlines.
