Senior Production Planner

About the role

As a Senior Production Planner you will lead the planning of internal filling and packaging operations as well as third‑party tolling activities. The role aligns weekly schedules with the long‑term supply strategy and ensures on‑time delivery for external customers while partnering with operations, procurement, logistics, finance and commercial teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead monthly capacity planning, identify constraints and coordinate alternatives to support demand forecasts.
• Provide a 12‑month volume plan by product based on capacity and demand assumptions.
• Develop detailed supply plans for a rolling 13‑week horizon across internal packaging, external tollers and distribution transfers.
• Drive on‑time order fulfillment by ensuring material availability and resolving delivery creation issues.
• Investigate service misses, lead root‑cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate planning data in SAP (MRP, APO SNP) and resolve system exceptions.
• Execute SAP transactions for purchase orders, planned orders, stock transport orders and plan‑versus‑actual postings.
• Partner with Global Supply Planner to optimize master data and support product allocation decisions.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in production planning or scheduling.
• Proven SAP experience, including MRP and APO SNP modules.
• Experience in a constrained supply or allocation environment, preferably in chemical or manufacturing operations.
• U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or holder of asylum/refugee status.

What we offer

• Annual base salary ranging from $92,536 to $115,699 (guideline).
