Senior Product Systems Engineer - SIGINT

About the role

Leidos is seeking a Senior Product Systems Engineer - SIGINT to provide lifecycle engineering and operational sustainment for mission-critical SIGINT applications running in Linux and Windows environments. Working in a multidisciplinary engineering team, the engineer supports deployment, monitoring, testing, automation, troubleshooting and lifecycle sustainment so that intelligence community mission software stays reliable, performant, secure and operationally ready.

Key responsibilities

• Provide lifecycle engineering support for SIGINT applications in Linux and Windows, and coordinate integration of product improvements into operational baselines
• Develop concepts of operations, technical plans, support plans and engineering documentation
• Monitor product dataflow, troubleshoot hardware, software and subsystem failures, and document defects and resolutions
• Perform regression testing, operational acceptance testing and operational evaluations supporting product releases
• Build scripts, tools and automation for monitoring, system health, deployment efficiency and system administration
• Develop SOPs, support documentation and training materials, and support periodic system backups and recovery procedures
• Collaborate with engineering and operational organizations to integrate tools, scripts and monitoring into the product baseline

Required profile

• TS/SCI clearance with polygraph required at the time of application
• BA/BS degree, or additional years of experience in lieu of a degree
• Minimum 6 years of systems engineering experience on programs or contracts of similar scope and complexity
• Minimum 10 years of Linux systems administration or operations experience
• Minimum 5 years implementing and supporting SIGINT technologies, and 5 years integrating, testing and deploying software
• Preferred: experience supporting Intelligence Community SIGINT mission applications

Required skills

• Linux systems administration and operations
• Scripting with Bash, Perl or similar languages (minimum 3 years)
• JIRA or similar project management and issue-tracking systems (minimum 2 years)

The pay range is $107,900 - $195,050.
