Senior Product Manager - Metal Roofing

About the role

Tremco CPG, a growth-oriented company with revenues over $1 billion and a world-leading position in waterproofing and roofing solutions for commercial, institutional and industrial customers, is hiring a Senior Product Manager with extensive metal roofing experience. The role plans, organizes and controls an assigned product or product line from concept through its life cycle to optimize profit and meet marketing, financial and corporate growth objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Market intelligence: conduct customer interviews and surveys, run competitive investigations and analysis, and take part in trade organizations
• Lifecycle management: support the sales team, forecast, carry out market analysis and handle warranty extensions
• New product development: create product charters, manage the product development process and orchestrate product launches
• Strategy development: set product pricing strategies, prioritize new product initiatives, and (with guidance) product portfolio pricing strategies

Required profile

• More than 10 years of related experience and/or training
• Extensive metal roofing experience
• Ability to grasp technical details and to analyze data and discern trends
• Planning, problem-solving, negotiation and decision-making skills, and ability to handle customer, sales, marketing and regulatory inquiries
• Occasional overnight travel; possible visits to Tremco plants and customer facilities

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
• CAD and/or SAP experience is a plus
