Senior Process Engineer - Industrial Water Systems

About the role

Envirogen Technologies, a provider of advanced water solutions, is looking for a Senior Process Engineer to join its core engineering team at its headquarters in Kingwood, Texas. The role leads the end-to-end lifecycle of industrial water and wastewater treatment systems, from conceptual design through field deployment. Hybrid or remote arrangements are considered for highly accomplished candidates.

Key responsibilities

• Lead conceptual and detailed design of full-scale treatment infrastructure, producing process calculations, mass balances, PFDs and P&IDs
• Define testing frameworks and run bench- and pilot-scale evaluations to validate designs and commercialize technologies
• Direct on-site startups, set operational sampling protocols and train client engineering and operations teams
• Partner with executive leadership on capital equipment budgets, value engineering and commercial/financial feasibility studies
• Troubleshoot live industrial assets using operational metrics and field data

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Environmental or Process engineering
• Experience designing, optimizing or commissioning complex industrial water and/or wastewater treatment processes
• Ability to work autonomously and communicate with clients, project managers and executive sales teams
• Willingness to travel up to 25% across North America

Required skills

• Knowledge of physical, chemical and biological water treatment mechanisms
• Ability to diagnose and characterize variable industrial influent streams
