Senior Platform Engineer

About the role

ReflexAI is building an operating system for conversation performance and seeks a Senior Platform Engineer to establish and grow its Platform Engineering function. Reporting to the Lead Platform Engineer, you will work remotely from anywhere in the United States and help shape the technical vision of a fast‑scaling AI company.

Key responsibilities

• Design, automate, and maintain multi‑cloud infrastructure on GCP and AWS using Terraform, Terragrunt, Kubernetes and related tooling.
• Create safe, reliable, and scalable pathways for software to reach production, including CI/CD pipelines, guardrails, and golden paths.
• Improve observability, monitoring, and on‑call ergonomics with Datadog and other modern tooling.
• Implement security best practices for secrets management, IAM, network and container security, and embed automated compliance checks.

Required profile

• 5–7+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, infrastructure or platform engineering.
• U.S. citizenship (required for VA contract access).
• Thrives in a fast‑growing startup, enjoys wearing multiple hats and collaborating across teams.

Required skills

• Deep hands‑on expertise with GCP, AWS, CloudRun, Fargate, and managed Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in Terraform, Terragrunt, GitHub, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code.
• Experience with modern observability ecosystems, especially Datadog.
• Strong knowledge of cloud security, IAM, secrets management, container security and network architecture.
