Senior Paralegal – Legal Team

About the role

Chanel is seeking a Senior Paralegal to join its Legal team in New York. The role supports a wide range of corporate legal functions, including litigation, employment, commercial matters, and compliance, while leveraging innovative tools such as artificial intelligence.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Legal team across litigation, employment, regulatory, and commercial matters, ensuring seamless coordination and execution.
• Drive efficient case management by tracking workflows, timelines, and key deliverables.
• Partner with outside counsel to organize files, gather documents, and coordinate interviews.
• Strengthen risk mitigation through investigations, regulatory monitoring, and legal monitoring processes.
• Build and maintain a centralized database for U.S. legal and regulatory developments.
• Manage litigation holds, document preservation, and records management protocols.
• Track legal budget and spend.

Required profile

• 7+ years of paralegal experience in a dynamic environment with exposure to multiple areas of law.
• Strong understanding of legal workflows and case management.
• Experience supporting discovery, litigation holds, and investigations.
• Ability to manage competing priorities independently while delivering high‑quality work.
• Excellent communication, judgment, and discretion.
• Experience with iManage, Coupa, Microsoft tools, and AI‑enabled legal applications.
