Senior Operations Business Analyst - Safety Support

About the role

The Home Depot is looking for a Senior Operations Business Analyst for its safety support function. The role supports daily safety operations and projects and initiatives that improve safety performance across the business. It calls for strong analytical ability, combining quantitative and qualitative skills, and effective communication of insights to teams and leaders.

Key responsibilities

• Lead project teams of analysts and other associates, including data gathering, synthesis, solution development, project and strategy planning, and data use.
• Produce documents for teams and leadership to review and use.
• Deliver presentations to teams, executives and sponsors.
• Develop skills and knowledge, including self-development, team knowledge and customer (internal) knowledge.
• Support day-to-day safety processes, identify opportunities for continuous improvement, and lead cross-functional initiatives.
• Review and understand operational and safety data, then communicate insights to teams and leaders.

Required profile

• Age 18 or older and legally permitted to work in the United States.
• Education: a bachelor's degree or equivalent; a master's degree is preferred.
• Experience: 3 years preferred; no additional years required.
• Reports to a Store Operations Process Manager, Store Operations Business Manager or Sr. Manager; no associates report to this role permanently, but the role leads a work group (assigning and reviewing work, training, contributing to performance appraisals).
• Travel: typically less than 10% overnight; mostly sitting work in an indoor setting.
