Senior Mobile Engineer (Remote)

About the role

Rula is a remote‑first mental health company seeking a Senior Mobile Engineer to own end‑to‑end delivery of patient‑facing features on iOS and Android using React Native. You will partner with product, design, and backend teams to create reliable, accessible experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and ship mobile features from concept through release and monitoring.
• Evolve mobile architecture, improve testing, performance, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the long‑term success of the mobile platform.

Required profile

• 5+ years of software engineering experience, including 3+ years building production mobile apps.
• Proven ability to own projects, make trade‑offs, and communicate rationale.
• Experience collaborating with cross‑functional partners and surfacing risks early.

Required skills

• React Native, TypeScript, modern React.
• Native iOS (Swift/Objective‑C) and Android (Kotlin/Java) knowledge.
• CI/CD, mobile observability tools (Datadog, Crashlytics, Sentry).
• Familiarity with AI‑assisted development tools (e.g., Claude Code).
