Senior Mobile Engineer

About the role

Inspiren is seeking a Senior Mobile Engineer to lead the development and evolution of its iOS and Android applications built with React Native. You will work on a platform that directly improves the lives of seniors, families, and care staff while collaborating with a passionate, growth‑focused team.

Key responsibilities

• Own the technical direction of the mobile app, shaping architecture, maintainability, and long‑term evolution.
• Build critical features using React Native and native iOS/Android code where appropriate.
• Define and enforce mobile code quality standards through reviews and technical guidance.
• Optimize application performance, especially in low‑connectivity environments.
• Establish robust automated testing practices to protect product quality.
• Design and shape APIs and interfaces in partnership with backend engineers.
• Drive mobile app observability to monitor performance and feature adoption.
• Debug user‑reported issues and deliver timely solutions.
• Mentor junior developers and promote best mobile development practices.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional iOS and Android app development experience with deep proficiency in the iOS SDK and Xcode.
• 3+ years building and maintaining production‑level applications using React Native.
• Proven ability to optimize mobile performance, including memory management, multithreading, and connectivity challenges.
• Extensive use of AI coding tools (e.g., Cursor, Claude Code) for automation and complex integrations.
• Experience with app analytics and observability tools to drive data‑informed improvements.
• Strong debugging skills and a collaborative, helpful attitude.
