Senior MES Developer Consultant

About the role

Deloitte is hiring a Senior MES Developer Consultant within its US Supply Chain & Network Operations offering. The consultant delivers transformational solutions for manufacturing execution systems, working with operations leaders, plant managers and IT teams to improve production efficiency, quality, visibility and traceability. The role is open in 35 locations across the United States and recruiting ends on 12/31/2026.

Key responsibilities

• Define use cases for work order execution, electronic batch records, genealogy and traceability, and non-conformance management
• Support shop floor digitization and operational excellence programs across production, quality, maintenance and inventory processes
• Work with technical teams on system configuration and integration with ERP, automation and data platform environments
• Take part in testing, deployment, hypercare, training and user adoption
• Communicate progress to leadership and support Smart Factory and digital supply chain solutions

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering-related discipline
• 5+ years of experience in core manufacturing processes and plant floor equipment and operations
• Ability to travel about 50% on average
• U.S. citizenship required due to federal restrictions
• Preferred: experience with electronic batch records, genealogy and traceability, aerospace and defense, ERP or automation integration, and industrial automation platforms (PLC, DCS, SCADA, process historians)

The stated wage range is $116,200 to $220,100, depending on skills, experience and location.
