Senior Manager, Privacy (Legal)

About the role

The Senior Manager, Privacy (Legal) will lead Servier’s U.S. data privacy program, reporting to the Sr. Director, US Head of Data Privacy. This role ensures compliance with U.S. privacy laws, supports business objectives with responsible data use, and collaborates across functions such as Clinical, R&D, Commercial, HR, and Legal.

Key responsibilities

• Support day‑to‑day privacy program operations, including policy implementation, training, and awareness initiatives.
• Act as subject‑matter expert for privacy impact assessments (PIAs), records of processing activities (RoPAs), and vendor risk assessments.
• Maintain and update privacy technology platforms (e.g., OneTrust) and resolve related issues.
• Develop and track privacy program metrics to identify trends and drive continuous improvement.
• Oversee privacy risk assessments for vendors and third parties and maintain the internal U.S. Privacy Network.

Required profile

• BA degree required; JD preferred.
• 7+ years (or 6+ years with JD) of privacy experience supporting PIAs, RoPAs, and vendor risk assessments.
• In‑depth knowledge of U.S. privacy laws; familiarity with GDPR and Canadian privacy laws is a plus.
• Experience in life‑sciences or related industry focused on data privacy and security.
• CIPP/US certification is a plus.

Required skills

• Expert proficiency with OneTrust and other common privacy compliance tools.
