Senior Manager - Internal Audits

About the role

HCSC is hiring a Senior Manager for its internal audit function. The role manages financial and IT audits, projects and audit coordination under the enterprise audit service agreement, and works closely with executive and operating management of HCSC and its subsidiaries.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate audits conducted by regulators and other government agencies.
• Coordinate the systems work of independent auditors for the annual financial audit and SOC reviews.
• Meet with executive and operating management to discuss the status of the organization's information system internal controls.
• Negotiate audit findings and recommendations.
• Assist in preparing reports for senior management and the audit committee.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree.
• 8 years of experience in healthcare, financial services operations, managed care, consulting, IT or other relevant business areas.
• 5 years of project management and risk assessment experience.
• Experience leading professional audit staff and in internal auditing and controls consulting within a large, complex, diversified environment.

Required skills

• Knowledge of audit techniques and Institute of Internal Auditors standards and practices.
• Auditing, financial and communication skills.
• Ability to plan, organize and direct diverse projects toward department objectives.

What we offer

• Base pay range of $92,700 to $167,500, varying with skills, experience and location.
