Senior Manager, Cybersecurity

About the role

Lead the security strategy behind advanced, mission‑critical technology. Drive secure and scalable solutions, collaborate across technical and business teams, and ensure complex systems are protected, compliant, and ready for real‑world operations.

Key responsibilities

• Own the authorization portfolio, overseeing RMF execution, ATO/IATT status, and accreditation roadmaps for all classified systems.
• Define and implement enterprise continuous‑monitoring strategy, including vulnerability scanning, STIG compliance, audit review, and configuration drift detection.
• Standardize package templates, control evidence libraries, hardening baselines, and inheritance documentation to accelerate new enclave accreditation.
• Invest in automation (infrastructure as code, scripted STIG application, scan and evidence pipelines) to make compliance repeatable.
• Select and manage the security compliance toolchain (eMASS/Xacta, ACAS/Nessus, SCAP, SIEM) including budgeting and licensing.
• Partner with IT, network, platform, and product security engineers to embed security architecture early in the development lifecycle.
• Coordinate with Industrial Security, Facilities, and Contracts for new facility and enclave stand‑ups through ATO.
• Lead incident response for classified systems, handling containment, spillage response, government reporting, and corrective actions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Electrical/Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity engineering, defense systems, mission systems, or military aerospace programs.
• Proven experience leading cybersecurity activities for complex integrated systems or defense platforms.
• Strong knowledge of RMF, STIGs, NIST SP 800‑53, system hardening, network security, secure architectures, and vulnerability management.
• Experience working across hardware, software, networking, and mission‑system integration environments.
• Active Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility.
